The player's mission is to restore the area condition by investigating the source of virus com from, as the virus is causing the mid-crisis in this place. over all the game play is just the same as other third person shooter game. you can carry 3 weapon and explosives to fight the enemies.
There are some missions in the Tom Calncy's the Division and player have to complete that missions to earn experience point, currency, and learn active talent such as throwing healing grenade, deploy automated gun, or use radar pulse.
Besides the mission game play in Tom Calncy's the Division, you can also play versus another player, which in the division it is called the dark zone. It is separated from the main campaign and has its own progression system. Player can play cooperate with another player in this game mode, but these people however can turn into enemy at any moment.
The graphics of this game of course pretty awesome. And with the third person mode, you can see your own character which can be a lot of fun customizing your character.
